Result of the GENDER-NET Comparative analysis of existing national initiatives on the integration of the gender dimension in research contents

The present web page displays the results of the GENDER-NET “Comparative analysis of existing national initiatives on the integration of the gender dimension in research contents”.
This report examines the information collected in the “Compendium of existing national and regional initiatives on the integration of the gender dimension in research contents” (available here) as a result of a comprehensive online survey launched in 2014, that was sent to ministries, national research funding agencies and research performing organisations as well as other private organisations located in the Member States and Associated Countries.
The aim was to identify and analyse common trends and areas of development on initiatives to facilitate the integration of the gender dimension in research contents within national organisations in the framework of their national programmes, and offer a list of recommendations addressed to policy makers from the relevant ministries, research funding and research performing organisations.

40 major national-level organisations from 22 countries– showcased below - responded to the survey.
Click on each spot to find out more about them and their proactivity level and initiatives.

Please notice that, although it might be updated in the future, the information shown at the present moment for each organization is only based on the self-reported progress by 2014.
